Daryll P. Quaresma is a product of the community of Manteca. He attended schools locally and in high school he was a member of the Future Farmers of America serving as President in 1979 and on the dairy judging team in 1982. Daryll and his wife Di have two daughters, Darian, 23 and Devanee’ 21.
Daryll is a board member of the Manteca Chamber of Commerce and was President in 2011-2012. Currently he is Chairman of the Board for the Oversight Committee of the Manteca Redevelopment Agency.
Daryll is a third-generation farmer and a fourth-generation business owner originating from Manteca. Daryll began his career in farming, working diligently for his family-owned dairy starting at the young age of twelve. With his father and brothers they successfully built a 1,400 cow dairy in Manteca. In the year 2000, Daryll sold his ownership of the dairy to one of his brothers, and established 2Q Farming, Inc. and 1Q Farms, Inc.
Daryll currently farms numerous acres of almonds, grapes, corn, and winter forage in San Joaquin and Merced Counties. Additionally, 2Q Farming Inc., provides custom almond harvesting services to San Joaquin and Stanislaus County land owners. Daryll has always exhibited a sincere respect for the land and stays current on improved techniques for proper and optimal farming practices. Daryll and his wife, Di, are also owners of California Almonds LLC, which markets almonds, almond related products and almond butter and is sold throughout California by SaveMart Supermarkets and is also sold via the internet. Additionally, they are co-owners (with other principals) of Molly’s Truck Beverages Inc., that process almond milk and iced coffee beverages and is sold in over 300 stores in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and various New England and east coast states.
Daryll’s accomplishments have earned him the honor of being inducted into the Manteca, Lathrop, and French Camp Hall of Fame.
