Dr. Craig Bobson M.D.

Dr. Craig Bobson was born and raised in Manteca, California. He attended Manteca High School where he received multiple Scholastic Achievement awards culminating in his being the Valedictorian of his graduating class. In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Bobson was an outstanding athlete. He was captain of the football team, team’s Most Valuable Player, All League Selection, and Valley Oak League MVP. Dr. Bobson went on to play football at Delta Junior college where he was again captain of the football team and selected to the All-League Team. After Delta College, Dr. Bobson went on to Stanford University where he played football for Coach Bill Walsh. He graduated from Stanford University with Honors in Biology. After Stanford, Dr. Bobson went to the Chicago Medical School where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class. He completed his Residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in 1985. Dr. Bobson and his wife Anne have two daughters, Claire and Jacqueline.
Having been born and raised in Manteca, he joined the Manteca Medical Group where he practiced for many years until opening his own practice. Truly, Dr. Bobson has tirelessly dedicated himself to the care of countless patients in Manteca. Even more, he has dedicated himself to the medical profession and his colleagues – a fact that is evident through the development of the medical office complex on Norman Drive. This development, led by Dr. Bobson, transformed the face of healthcare in Manteca and positioned it well for the future.
By any measure, Dr. Craig Bobson has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the citizens in this community. For this reason and that he is a “local Product”, Dr. Craig Bobson has been selected to the Manteca Hall of Fame in the field of Health Care.
