Jack Miller

Athletics

Jack Miller has been an educator in Manteca for thirty-four years. During this time he established himself as being credible and sincere. Jack is dedicated and very effective as a teacher and coach.
Jack, whose official title is Assistant Head Coach Varsity Football, has distinguished himself as an effective coach who is a positive role model. Many young people have followed him into the profession of education as teachers and coaches.
Over the years Jack has been accorded many awards. Those include the California State Assistant Football Coach of the Year in 2008 and “Best of Manteca” award in 2007 and 2008. He has contributed to Manteca Football teams qualifying for play-offs 14 times, two section titles runner-ups and 3 section titles in 2001, 2005, and 2006. He has positively influenced the lives of more than 1600 young men on the athletic fields as well as hundreds of others in the classroom, including a navy seal, one professional football player and countless college athletes.
Jack Miller teaches lasting life lessons in the classroom as a social science teacher. He is as dedicated in the classroom as he is on the football field.
Jack, his wife Mary and two sons, Sam and Kevin, have been an active part of the Manteca area. Both children participated in athletics in youth and high school sports.
Jack Miller is a man who has established himself as a positive role model and has faced challenges and adversity victoriously. He is and has been a person the youth of Manteca have emulated. He is deserving of being inducted into the Manteca Hall of Fame.
